Join us for the 6:33 youth party at the Doles house this coming Sunday, Dec 18th. Youth can begin arriving at 6 PM or anytime thereafter as I know some will be coming from bell practice. Please bring a 2 liter beverage of your choice. We will provide the rest. If anyone is allergic or highly fearful of dogs, let me know. We will be playing games, eating good food and having a brief devotional time. Carolyn is bringing a special suprise for all of us and trust me when I say, it's going to be a "ball." Our house is at 3450 Elizabeth St. near the corner of Talley and Rockyford Rd. The problem is Rockyford Rd. is closed by our house. So to get to our house, make your way to Talley Rd. The simplest way is to take 25th St. East (like your going to Greensburg). Talley Rd is just past Rafts and Rafters. Turn left on Talley. You'll go about 3/4 of a mile and Elizabeth St. will be on your left. Turn on Elizabeth and It will curve around. Our house will be towards the end of the street on the left. It's a a light brown bi level home. The Christmas lights and the porch light will be on. We have a red Rav4 and a red Cavalier that will be in the driveway. Thanks and hope to see you then, Pastor Dave Join us for 6:33 this week (Nov 13) as we look at what it means to worship. We are called to have our relationship with God at the center of our lives and worship is a big part of how to do it. Let's discover the joy of true worship as we tackle this topic together.
Nov 13th is going to be a Coffee Bar Sunday so Heidi Jones needs your help youth please be at church at 8:45 for coffee bar. This usually happens on the 3rd Sunday but are doing it a week earlier this month due to the Thanksgiving Dinner next week. Nov 20th - No 6:33 Nov 27th - 6:33 at its normal time/normal place Hello All,
In case you haven't heard, THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SERIES! Needless to say with celebrating, basking in the glory of victory and a lack of sleep due to having stayed up so late to watch the game and then having to take awhile to wind down after the games, it's been a little hard to concentrate today. Still I wanted to remind youth and parents about 6:33 this Sunday. We were hit and miss during October for several reasons but hopefully we can get back on track and start/restart the habit of coming to youth group. This week's topic is one that all youth have struggled/dealt with, so make it a priority to come. We are going to talk about Body Image! Society paints such an inaccurate picture of how we should view our bodies, so come and learn about what Christ would have us know about how we should should view our bodies and how we should support each other in fighting through the lies the culture tries to tell us. Hope to see you at 6:33 on Sunday for 6:33. Don't forget you can join us at 6 PM for yack n snack as well. Upcoming: Nov 13th - 6:33 Nov 20th - No 6:33 due to Thanksgiving Break Nov 27th - 6:33 Fall is in the air and this Saturday we plan to enjoy it. Our Fall Party is Saturday, Oct 29th. Meet at the church at 4:30 PM. We will travel from the church to Southeastern Baptist Camp near Westport, IN. We will be joining the Westport Baptist Youth and having a bon fire and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows for S'mores.
Youth can enjoy the trails, putt putt course, 9 square game, fishing, paddle boating and much more. We will have a campfire time of singing and devotions and for the culmination of the evening we will play the camp's version of Human Fusball and Youth will be able to go on a Haunted Hike. It's almost too much fun for one evening. We plan to be back no later than 9:30 for parents to meet us at the church to pick their youth up. Plan to Join Us and Bring a Friend. If anyone needs a ride please let pastor Dave know. Hello All,

NO 6:33 on Oct 9th due to Fall Break. Hello All,
This week at 6:33 we continue our series on Building Better Friendships. Last week we focused on identifying healthy and unhealthy friendships, but this week we shift to more about us and what qualities we find God's calling us to be in our Friendships. Thus, this week's theme is "The Friendship Vitamin - B1." Kim and Joe Hamon will be providing the meal for Yack N Snack. If you want to get ahead of the game look up these scriptures and consider what they offer to us about being a better friend. Proverbs 17:17, 18:24, 27:6, Matthew 18: 21-22, John 15:13 Be thinking now about how you are going to make space for God this weekend and Seek Him First. Got 45-60 minutes to spare for God this weekend? Then you have time to be at 6:33. |
