I remember when I resigned from First Baptist Peru I attempted to do so by reading my resignation on a Sunday morning after the closing hymn which was "Wherever He Leads I'll Go." The hymn was appropriate because I felt God was leading us to the next chapter of ministry, but I couldn't get through reading my resignation without many tears. I later received the advice to send out a letter and give everyone a chance to process the situation including myself. So it is with mixed emotion that I inform you of my resignation as Assoc.
