March is almost over and it seems we are leaving it like a lamb weather wise. Spring is in the air and that is definitely a good thing. I want to share with you some adjustments to the events going on at 6:33 the next two weeks so please make note of the following.
April 2nd - The Memorial Youth won't be joining us for 6:33 the next two Sundays as they take time on Sunday evenings and prepare for their church's Sunrise Service on Easter. We will reconvene with them after Easter. So with our church having these focus groups, the revitalization team has requested that the youth be involved in at least one of the meetings. Thus, for 6:33 on April 2nd, we are going to participate in the focus group. Our schedule will remain with dinner at 6 PM. From 6:33-7 PM we will play a game and then join the Focus group at 7. The focus group should be done no later than 8 PM.
April 9th - Again without the Memorial youth being here for 6:33, we are going to take a short road trip to First Lutheran Church where they are sharing a dramatic presentation called "The Living Last Supper." Members of the church will appear as disciples in the spirit of Davinci's Last Supper painting and share dramatic perspectives from the point of view of the disciples at the last supper. The program begins at 7 PM. Again, we will stick to the regular schedule of Supper at 6 PM. After supper and possibly a short game time, we will make our way to First Lutheran. The program will last an hour thus being done around 8 PM as well. Parents can pick youth up at First Lutheran around 8 PM.
